Sending it anyway, to the door in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, is usually the point — it is not the object, it is the evidence that you were thinking about them on an ordinary Tuesday.

Cakes paired with a shawl for your mother, dry fruit boxes of cashews, pistachios and walnuts for a father who claims to want nothing, sugar-free mithai for the grandparent whose doctor has opinions, and premium cookie boxes for a house where people drop in. Every one includes a card written in your words.

We are used to buyers in the UK, the US and the Gulf who have not been back for a couple of years and are tired of sending money instead of something real. Nothing is charged at checkout. You send the details, we confirm availability on WhatsApp, then a payment link follows. When it is delivered we send you a photo — which, with parents, is usually the part you keep.

Older relatives sometimes refuse a delivery they were not expecting, or insist on paying the courier. If you would rather we called ahead and explained who it is from, tell us and we will. Otherwise we hand it over at the door, never leave it at the gate, and send you the photo either way.
